Ranaviru Child with Medical Needs - D.M.Dulanjali Dilhara

Dulanjali Dilhara is daughter of Lance Corporal Jayarathna of SL Army. Dulanjali is suffering from a serious heart disorder. In order to correct this abnormality, she needed early percurneous cardiac electrophysiological treatment with RF ablation at Asiri surgical hospital for cure.

Ranaviru Fund is working with Ranaviru Seva Authority to provide financial assistance to facilitate the requirement for her surgery. We request everyone to make a contribution towards her requirements.

Medical Condition

Recurrent Supraventricular Tachycardia - A condition associated with abnormal electrical impulses within the heart causing irregular heartbeats, and requiring frequent hospitalization. This condition has potential of causing sudden cardiac death.
In order to correct this abnormality, she needed early percurneous cardiac electrophysiological treatment with RF ablation at Asiri surgical hospital for cure.
The cost of the procedure - Rs.185,000/=

Entire Rs.185,000 required for the heart surgery was raised. Money disbursed favouring Asiri Hospital by Mrs. Anoma Fonseka (chairperson, Ranaviru Seva Authority) on 2009.09.30 at the Ranaviru Seva Authority
Surgery done on 2009.10.06.

We contacted the child’s father on 22nd Jan 2010 and have been told that Dulanjali has responded well to the Surgery and currently attending school. Doctors have advised her to lead a normal life.
