Ranaviru Children with Medical Needs

The children listed in the table below belong to Ranaviru families and are in need of medical treatment. We have given a brief description of the condition of each child; nature and estimated cost of treatment required, and where available, copies of documents in support of these claims.

We will update this page as and when contributions flow in, indicating “Pledged Donations” and “Received Donations”. Subsequent to the children undergoing their medical treatment, we also wish to offer sponsorship for meeting their monthly medical costs (such as medicines, special dietary needs, doctor’s visits etc).

Our aim is not only to give these children the medical treatment they require, but also to support them in their education, and see them become independent individuals in society. A family member with special medical needs is a financial burden on any family, and when it is a child, the emotional strain can be overwhelming. Through this sponsorship program, donors have the opportunity to build a close relationship with the family, and thus support them on a personal level.

The Sponsorship procedure is as follows: .

1. Send your Donation to Ranaviru Seva Authority (RVSA) account. You may contribute any amount which is feasible for you (it need not be the total required amount). RVSA will ensure that the money will be remitted to the guardian's account.

 

2. Contact details of the child and the family will be provided by the RVSA upon submission of application. If you wish, you may contact the family and verify the details before starting contributions.

Application Procedure

• Please select a child from the list of children given below
• Fill the application and email it to scholarships@ranavirufund.org
• We will consolidate the applications and submit them as a batch to the Ranaviru Seva Authority which in turn would provide you with the contact details of the child's family and the instructions to remit the funds.
